Electric charging in VMEs

The electric car is gaining ground rapidly. More than half of new registrations in 2024 were hybrid or fully electric. For co-owners (VMEs), this means that charging facilities in parking lots are no longer music of the future, but something we need to work on today.

However, opinions within VMEs differ. Some owners immediately invest in a charging station, others prefer to wait. Especially achieving the required majority at a general meeting often remains a challenge. But one thing is certain: a charging point not only increases comfort, it also increases the value of the apartment and the building.

In addition to comfort, safety also plays a role. New construction projects are usually well equipped, but older buildings sometimes require additional fire safety measures. Fortunately, there are smart collective systems that distribute power consumption so that the grid does not become overloaded.

By taking steps now, buildings are preparing their parking spaces for the coming years. Electric driving is no longer a distant future, but a reality that brings comfort and adds value.
